Total engineering capability from concept to installation.
Engineering — Design & Support
From North America's first continuous rendering plant to today's wide range of rendering installations worldwide, Dupps has pioneered innovations in the protein recycling industry. Whether your needs require a complete system renovation or an upgrade to a single piece of equipment, Dupps engineering experience is ready to keep your operation running at peak efficiency.
Thorough research, product development and engineering translate your specific needs through every stage into profitable production, whether you need one piece of equipment, an integrated system or a complete turnkey processing facility.
Examples of recent engineering innovations include a patented process for manufacturing bi-metallic hard-surfaced Tuff-Cast™ screw press flights that increases screw press shaft life well beyond any other flight on the market. The new Hybrid HCPR™ screw press shaft can extract more fat by dramatically lowering residuals in most rendered products.
Dupps Tuff-Cast™ screw shaft flights can increase screw press shaft life well beyond any other flight on the market. Tuff-Cast’s unique design provides shorter break-in time, greater strength and wear resistance . . . and costs no more than ordinary flights.
Dupps’ patented process for manufacturing bi-metallic hard surfaced flights casts a hard, wear-resistant surface over a softer core with a high-integrity, uniform bond. Tuff-Cast flights are virtually free of porosity and inclusions, resulting in a more durable, longer-lasting hardfacing layer.
The new Dupps hybrid HCPR™ (High Compression Press Release) screw shaft for Pressor® high-pressure screw presses can extract more fat by dramatically lowering residuals in most rendered products.
The patent-pending HCPR design combines high compression with a release/re-compression feature. By compressing material twice, the HCPR releases more residual fat. In the same way that squeezing a household sponge twice releases more moisture, the HCPR shaft can release more fats by eliminating voids in the feed as it travels through the press.
Combined with precision-cut barrel bars, the HCPR shaft can provide up to 25% lower residual fat in pressed crax for most rendered products. Which means that depending upon Pressor capacity, the HCPR shaft can deliver up to 110 lbs. more fat per hour.
